Overview The league was composed of clubs from Serbia and Montenegro after the other former Yugoslav republics became independent and left the league at the end of the 1991–92 Yugoslav Second League. The champion and the 2 following teams were promoted into the 1993–94 First League of FR Yugoslavia. At the end of the season FK Jastrebac Niš became champions. The Second League of Serbia and Montenegro was the second tier of the football league system in Serbia and Montenegro, one level below the First League of Serbia and Montenegro. History Formed in 1992 after the breakup of Yugoslavia, it consisted of a single league for the first four seasons of its formation before splitting into regional leagues from 1996. In 2004 the league was divided into two groups, Group Serbia and Group Montenegro. FK Zastava Kragujevac () is a football club based in Kragujevac, Serbia. They compete in the Šumadija-Raška Zone League, the fourth tier of the national league system. History Founded in 1973, the club surprisingly made the semi-finals of the FR Yugoslavia Cup in the competition's inaugural 1992–93 campaign, being eliminated by Partizan (losing 6–0 on aggregate). They also competed in the Second League of FR Yugoslavia for four seasons during the 1990s (1992–1994 and 1996–1998). The Serbian League () is the third level football league in Serbia. It consists of four groups, namely Belgrade, East, Vojvodina, and West. The winner of each group earns promotion to the Serbian First League. FK Timok 1919 () is a football club based in Zaječar, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian League East, the third tier of the national league system. History Founded in 1919, the club participated in the regional leagues during its early stages. They achieved their first notable success by defeating Dinamo Zagreb 3–1 in the first round of the 1973 Yugoslav Cup. The club also competed in the Yugoslav Second League for three seasons between 1981 and 1984. After the dissolution of SFR Yugoslavia, the club advanced to the second tier for the second time, finishing bottom of the table in the 1992–93 Second League of FR Yugoslavia. FK Bor (Serbian Cyrillic: ФК Бор) is a football club based in Bor, Serbia. History Early Years (1920s to 1960s) The club was founded in 1919 as a Serbian-French sports society under the name Association Sportive Bor (ASB). The club was financed by the French Society of the Bor Mines and managed by a Frenchman named Loren, the director of mechanical services in Bor mining company. Not much is recorded about the early club activity, until the first official game played in 1920. First ASB's head coach was Gallois, who also played for the club as well as for France national football team. FK Radnički Pirot () is a football club based in Pirot, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian League East, the third tier of the national league system. History The club was founded immediately after World War II in 1945. They made their Yugoslav Second League debut in the 1969–70 campaign. Over the next 12 seasons, the club competed in the second tier of Yugoslav football, before being relegated in 1981. They were promoted back the following year and played another six seasons in the Second League (1982– 1988), before the competition was reorganized. Fudbalski klub Sloga Kraljevo (Serbian Cyrillic: Фудбалски клуб Слога Краљево) is a football club based in Kraljevo, in Serbia. History In 1909 former cavalry captain Mr. Delić came to Kraljevo from Šibenik and brought the first ball which he bought in Zemun. He ran away from the Austro-Hungarian army to Belgrade, and shortly afterwards he moved to Kraljevo. 1919–1945 The club's first games were played in Divlje Polje, the playground was across the street of an old train station. Žiča was the first football club in Kraljevo and was founded in 1919. Its first matches were played against Viktorija from Čačak and the soldier academy. In both games Žiča suffered heavy defeats. FK Vrbas () is a defunct football club based in Vrbas, Vojvodina, Serbia. History FK Vrbas was founded on 27 August 1969 as a result of a merger between two local clubs, OFK Vrbas and FK Kombinat. They subsequently won the Novi Sad-Syrmia Zone League, the fourth tier of Yugoslav football, in their inaugural 1969–70 season, thus earning promotion to the Vojvodina League, the third national tier.
