The 1977 European Cup Winners' Cup Final was a football match contested between Hamburger SV of West Germany and the defending champions, Anderlecht of Belgium. It was the final match of the 1976–77 European Cup Winners' Cup tournament and the 17th European Cup Winners' Cup final in history. Peter Nogly (born 14 January 1947) is a former German football player and coach. Club career All his 320 West German top-flight matches he made in the Hamburger SV shirt. He played in the North American Soccer League for the Edmonton Drillers and Tampa Bay Rowdies. He was a first team all-star selection in 1981 and 1982, and earned a place on the NASL's 2nd team in 1980. Nogly scored a goal in the finals of the 1983 indoor finals which Tampa Bay won 5–4. Hans-Jürgen Ripp (24 June 1946 – 4 July 2021) was a German professional footballer who played as a defender. He spent nine seasons in the Bundesliga with Hamburger SV. In August 2017, he was the player with the fourth most number of Bundesliga appearances without scoring a goal. Personal life Ripp was born in Niendorf, Hamburg. Manfred Kaltz (born 6 January 1953) is a German former football player and manager, who played as a right-back. Kaltz played in the Bundesliga for Hamburger SV and 13 times (one goal) for FC Mulhouse in Ligue 1 after initially joining Mulhouse league rivals Girondins de Bordeaux 1989. He returned to Hamburg the season after, the consequence of the relegation of FC Mulhouse from Ligue 1 at the end of 1989–90. Rudolf Kargus (born 15 August 1952) is a German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Career Born in Worms, West Germany, Kargus began playing football with boyhood club Wormatia Worms. Having joined the youth ranks of Hamburger SV in 1970, Kargus stepped up to become a Bundesliga goalkeeper for the North Germans from 1971, capturing the starting role in the goal of Hamburg in 1973. He served as the club's first-choice until Hamburg headed for a change on that position in 1980. The Olympic Stadium (Dutch: ''Olympisch Stadion'', ) is a sporting venue which was used as the main stadium for the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam. The venue is currently used mostly for athletics, other sports events and concerts. When completed, the stadium had a capacity of 31,600.
