__NOTOC__ Ahmed Osman (Arabic: أحمد عصمان; born 3 January 1930) is a Moroccan politician who served as the Prime Minister of Morocco between 2 November 1972, and 22 March 1979. He was the eighth prime minister of Morocco and served under king Hassan II. Early life Osman was born on 3 January 1930 in Oujda. He studied at the Collège Royal in Rabat with Hassan II. He studied law in Rabat college, where he obtained his license, and in Bordeaux, where he received the diplomas of higher studies in public law and of private law. He was married to Princess Lalla Nuzha of Morocco from 1964 to 1977, a sister of King Hassan II. He also founded the National Rally of Independents. Michael Brecher
Michael Brecher (14 March 1925 – 16 January 2022) was a Canadian political scientist and teacher in Quebec. Life and career Brecher was born on 14 March 1925. He obtained his PhD in International Relations from Yale University in 1953, and joined the faculty of McGill University in 1954. He was R.B. Angus Professor of Political Science at McGill University until his retirement. His areas of research included; theory of crisis, conflict and war, protracted conflicts/enduring rivalries, foreign policy theory, international systems, the Middle East and South Asia international relations. He retired after 69 years, thereafter becoming R.B. Angus Professor of Political Science Emeritus, and a member of the Royal Society of Canada. Brecher died on 16 January 2022, at the age of 96. Jonathan Wilkenfeld (born March 24, 1942) is an American political scientist and professor emeritus at University of Maryland, specialized in foreign policy, terrorism and simulation methodology in political science. He is the Founding Director of the International Communication and Negotiation Simulations (ICONS) Project. Career Wilkenfeld attended University of Maryland, where he received a B.S. in Political Science. He later obtained an M.A. from George Washington University and a Ph.D. from Indiana University. Wilkenfeld has been a professor at University of Maryland since 1969, where he has worked with the university’s Department of Government and Politics and the Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS). He is also a research professor of the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START). Hassan II Of Morocco
Hassan II ( ar, الحسن الثاني, translit=al-Ḥasan aṯ-ṯhānī;), with the prefix "Mulay" before his enthronement 9 July 1929 – 23 July 1999) was the King of Morocco from 1961 until his death in 1999. He was a member of the 'Alawi dynasty. He was the eldest son of Sultan Mohammed V, and his second wife, Lalla Abla bint Tahar. He was the first commander-in-chief of the Royal Armed Forces and was named crown prince in 1957. He was enthroned as king in 1961 following his father's death. Hassan's reign was marked by the start of the Western Sahara conflict and the Sand War. He was also the target of two failed coup d'états that were opposed to the absolute monarchy in Morocco: one in 1971 and the other in 1972.
