The 1970–71 Svenska Cupen was the 16th season of the main Swedish football Cup. The competition was concluded on 30 June 1971 with the final, held at Malmö Stadion, Malmö. Åtvidabergs Fotbollförening, also known simply as Åtvidabergs FF, Åtvidaberg, Åtvid or (especially locally) ÅFF, is a Swedish professional football club based in Åtvidaberg. Idrottsföreningen Elfsborg, more commonly known as IF Elfsborg or simply Elfsborg (), is a professional football club based in Borås, Sweden, and is affiliated to the Västergötlands Fotbollförbund.
