The 1959 Ballon d'Or, given to the best football player in Europe as judged by a panel of sports journalists from UEFA member countries, was awarded to Alfredo Di Stéfano on 15 December 1959. Ferenc Puskás (, ; born Ferenc Purczeld; 1 April 1927 – 17 November 2006) was a Hungarian football player and manager, widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time and the sport's first international superstar. Ivan Petkov Kolev ( bg, Иван Петков Колев) (Plovdiv 1 November 1930 – 1 July 2005) was a Bulgarian football player and coach. He represented Bulgaria at both the 1962 FIFA World Cup and the 1966 FIFA World Cup, He also played for the Bulgarian Olympic team and won a bronze medal at the 1956 Summer Olympics. FC Tatabánya is a Hungarian football club based in Tatabánya. They play their home games at Stadion Gyula Grosics. History The ''Tatabányai Sport Klub'' was founded on February 6, 1910 by Ferenc Frei, a mining engineer. At this time several Hungarian towns outside of Budapest had formed football clubs – Debrecen, Miskolc, Győr. The First World War weakened the team, but in the 1920s the team was still without a doubt the most popular in Tatabánya. Professionalism was introduced into the Hungarian League, but the team couldn't afford this, and stuck with amateur players. Gyula Grosics (; 4 February 1926 – 13 June 2014) was a Hungarian football goalkeeper who played 86 times for the Hungary national football team and was part of the "Golden Team" of the 1950s. Regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time, he was thought to be the first goalkeeper to play as the sweeper-keeper. Grosics was nicknamed "Black Panther" ( hu, Fekete Párduc), because he wore black clothing while playing. He won a gold medal in football at the 1952 Summer Olympics. Dezső Bundzsák (3 May 1928 – 1 October 2010) was a Hungarian football player and coach. Bundzsák played as a striker or midfielder at both professional and international levels, before becoming a coach who worked throughout Europe and Africa.
