The 1966 San Diego State Aztecs football team represented San Diego State University, San Diego State CollegeSan Diego State University was known as San Diego State College from 1935–1971. The team was led by head coach Don Coryell, in his sixth year, and played home games at both Aztec Bowl (stadium), Aztec Bowl and Balboa Stadium. They finished the season as champions of the CCAA, undefeated and untied with eleven wins and zero losses (11–0, 5–0 CCAA). The California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) is a List of NCAA conferences, college athletic conference affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the NCAA Division II, Division II level. Alexander Giannascoli (born February 3, 1993), better known by his stage names Alex G or, formerly, (Sandy) Alex G, is an American musician, producer, and singer-songwriter.
