10-km Walk
The 10 kilometres race walk, or 10-kilometer racewalk, is a racewalking event. The event is competed as a road race. Athletes must always keep in contact with the ground and the supporting leg must remain straight until the raised leg passes it. 10 kilometers is . By performances, Deakes is Australia's best and most successful ever race walker, winning several international medals and holding many Australian and World Records. Buy () is a town in Kostroma Oblast, Russia, which stands on the Kostroma River. Population: History Buy was originally a trading post and protected by a hill fortress of Finno-Ugrian Meri people c. 400–500 CE. Its original Meri name is not known. It was inhabited by the Finno-Ugrian peoples at least up to the Mongol invasion of Russia in 1237–1238.
