Å (historically ''Aa'') is a letter used in several Scandinavian, High German, and Finno-Permic languages. Å, Ibestad
Å is a village in Ibestad Municipality in Troms county, Norway. It is located about east of the Harstad (town), town of Harstad on the southwest side of the Andørja (island), island of Andørja, along the Bygda strait which goes between the Vågsfjorden, Troms, Vågsfjorden and the Astafjorden. The village of Å and the neighboring villages of Laupstad, Norway, Laupstad and Ånstad altogether have a total population (2001) of 205 residents. The village is about north of the village of Sørvika, Ibestad, Sørvika where the undersea Ibestad Tunnel connects Andørja island to the neighboring Rolla (Troms), island of Rolla, where Hamnvik, the municipal center is located. Å (, from meaning "stream") or Å i Lofoten () is a village in Moskenes Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located about southwest of the village of Sørvågen, Moskenes, Sørvågen on the island of Moskenesøya, towards the southern end of the Lofoten archipelago. It is connected to the rest of the archipelago by the European route E10 highway, which ends here. This part of the highway is also called King Olav's Road. Until the 1990s, Å was mainly a small fishing village specializing in stockfish, but since then tourism has taken over as the main economic activity. Åfjord (also known as: Årnes, Å i Åfjord, or just Å) is the administrative center of Åfjord Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located at the end of the Åfjorden, about west of the village of By, Norway, By. The lake Stordalsvatnet lies just east of the village. Kramfors Municipality
Kramfors Municipality () is a municipality in Västernorrland County, northern Sweden. Its seat is located in the town Kramfors. The rural municipality of ''Gudmundrå'' was in 1947 made one of the last administrative cities of Sweden and got the name Kramfors from an industrial settlement. In 1952 many of the surrounding entities were grouped into larger municipalities. The nationwide reform in 1971 made Kramfors a unitary municipality, but the amalgamation process was not fulfilled until 1974. The number of original units within the present municipality is eleven, including Bjärtrå. The municipality features the Sandö Bridge, crossing the Ångerman River.
