Europa (moon)
Europa () is a moons of Jupiter, natural satellite (moon) of Jupiter. Being observable from Earth with common binoculars it is one of the four Galilean moons. As such it is a planetary-mass moon, the smallest and least massive orbiting Jupiter, and slightly smaller and less massive than Moon, Earth's. Europa is an icy moon, being of the three icy Galilean moons the closest orbiting Jupiter. As a result it is exhibiting a relatively young surface, driven by tidal heating. Probably having an iron–nickel alloy, iron–nickel core, it consists mainly of silicate rock, with a water-ice shell. It has a very thin atmosphere, composed primarily of oxygen. Europa-Park is a theme park in Rust, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Covering a total area of 95 hectares, twenty themed areas offer around a hundred attractions, including shows and fourteen roller coasters. The park also includes six hotels, a camping site, a tepee village, a cinema and a conference center. According to the AECOM Theme Index 2020, Europa-Park is ranked 19th out of the 25 most visited theme parks in the world and is the third most visited theme park in Europe after Disneyland Paris and Efteling, as well as the most visited seasonal theme park in the world. Europa Point ( Spanish and Llanito: Punta de Europa or Punta Europa) is the southernmost point of Gibraltar. Although not the southernmost point of the Iberian Peninsula, Europa Point defines the boundary between the Straits of Gibraltar in the Atlantic Ocean, and the Alboran Sea within the Mediterranean. At the end of the Rock of Gibraltar, the area is flat and occupied by such features as a playing field and a few buildings. On a clear day, views of North Africa can be seen across the Strait of Gibraltar including Ceuta and the Rif Mountains of Morocco; as well as the Bay of Gibraltar and the Spanish towns along its shores. 52 Europa is the List of exceptional asteroids, sixth largest asteroid in the asteroid belt, having a diameter of over 300 km, though it is not correspondingly massive. Europa Road is a major road in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. It begins near Trafalgar Cemetery and Trafalgar Road and connects the centre with the southern tip of the territory at Europa Point. Along its way the road passes The Rock Hotel, Gibraltar Botanic Gardens, and the Ibrahim-al-Ibrahim Mosque. Maintenance and construction The Europa Road is located in Gibraltar and is old enough that a precise date of its construction could not be found; however, the Europa Road was incorporated in the Immaculate Conception Institute in 1872. Europa Island (, ), in Malagasy Nosy Ampela is a low-lying tropical atoll in the Mozambique Channel, about a third of the way from southern Madagascar to southern Mozambique. The island had never been inhabited until 1820, when the French family of Rosier moved to it. The island officially became a possession of France in 1897, though it is claimed by Madagascar. The island, garrisoned by a detachment from Réunion, has a weather station and is visited by scientists. Though uninhabited now, it is part of the Scattered Islands of the French Southern and Antarctic Lands administrative region. The Europa building is the seat of the European Council and Council of the European Union, located on the Rue de la Loi, Rue de la Loi/Wetstraat in the Brussels and the European Union#European Quarter, European Quarter of Brussels, Belgium.
